We’ve woven rag rugs, but we’re always searching for the next fun challenge. In this fun approach to weaving a rag rug we will utilize a wide range of striped fabrics to create effects that zig and zag or roll like waves. During class we will discuss choice of materials, considerations with color usage and of course everyones favorite tips and tricks to make the job more fun. Join Sara for this two day course combining two of her favorite things; color and pattern in plain weave!
Students will receive prior to class a suggested materials bring list including type of material and yardage requirements. Enjoy two days of weaving on pre-warped looms to create one of a kind rugs you’ll love to show off.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.

Sara is the owner and resident instructor of Red Stone Glen Fiber Arts Center. Many of Sara’s students praise her ability to guide students through the challenging world of color theory, specifically relating to weaving.
