We’ve all been warned of the woes weaving with variegated yarns, especially when using structures other than plain weave. Sara will guide students through the planning process of designing with variegated yarn to complete a scarf or table runner utilizing variegated yarns in both the warp and weft direction. Students will be able to choose a wide range of structures to match their design goals. In this warp and weave style class students will have an opportunity to not only create a one-of-a-kind piece they will be proud of, but also the ability to live vicariously through their classmates project planning.
Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials based upon the project size and yardage requirements. Students may also bring materials from their own stash as inspiration, or a start point for their design.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
For class dates that are full, please feel free to call us here at the studio and have your name place on the wait list.
