Already taken a basic weaving class, but having problems when it comes time to warp the loom? You want to take on a complex multi shaft project but need guidance? In the class we can help you feel confident and be there for any help! Warping the loom is not as difficult as it sometimes seems, and we’ll let you in on our secrets and short cuts in this week of fun. The class will cover warp planning, choice of threads, setts and treadling. You may bring yarns from your stash at home or purchase materials from our store for your project needs. This class is what you make of it!
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.

Sara is the owner and resident instructor of Red Stone Glen Fiber Arts Center. Many of Sara’s students praise her ability to guide students through the challenging world of color theory, specifically relating to weaving.

Tom Knisely has made his career from his interest and love of textiles from around the world. Tom has been studying, collecting, and teaching others about weaving and spinning for more than four decades.
