Memories of a long practiced craft of tatting come to life in this intro to tatting class. Join Karen as she guides her students through the process of making decorative tatted edges that can be applies to tea towels, table linens, blankets and SEW much more. Instructions are also included for various patterns that are great for using up our thread stash. Students will be asked to bring a pre-made tea towel (handmade or commercially purchased) that is hemmed along with them to class. All other materials are included with the class tuition including a kit with an instruction booklet and a size #5 hook.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.

I have been a fiber fan for as long as I can remember - have always enjoyed needlework and crafting with my mother and grandmothers and designing pieces. I taught myself tatting about 30 years ago and find it so fascinating - what can be done with those knots.
