Spinners love the ability to explore a wide range of fibers on their spinning wheel. In this course Sara will introduce you to spinning with camelid fibers such as llama, alpaca and even camel. Learn to wash and process through combing and carding. Draw comparisons between the different species, how they are graded and how we as hand spinners choose the right fleece to our desired application. Sara will have on hand for students to experience a wide range of colors, lengths and compositions during our time together.
All materials included with tuition.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
