In this course student will weave a small stool seat in the classic tradition of the Shakers. Class includes lecture on Shakers and their crafts that inspired craftmen for generations. Students will be guided through the step-by -step process of weaving their own custom woven chair/stool seat. No previous weaving experience required to attend.
All materials including a pre-stained stool and tape included with tuition.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.

This class's instructor
Sara is the owner and resident instructor of Red Stone Glen Fiber Arts Center. Many of Sara’s students praise her ability to guide students through the challenging world of color theory, specifically relating to weaving.
