About Class

Sara’s students have asked and she has answered. Join us as we explore the next steps in Inkle weaving through a technique called Baltic Pick-Up. In this workshop students will be given two opportunities to warp their loom. During the first project, students will be given patterns to follow and execute a sampler. On day two students will be taught how to create their own custom imagery and design their own one-of-a-kind band. Don’t let the pretty pictures intimidate you, this is a totally achievable project for even the “newer” inkle weaver. Students should be comfortable warping their looms for plain weave bands independently as instruction will build on these basic skills.

All materials will be included with your tuition, but feel free to provide your own materials, especially for your 2nd project. Let’s take your bands to the next level!
