Donna has been a knitter for over 50 years, having first been taught by her mother
and grandmother as a small child.
In 2022 on a fiber trip to Scotland led by Sara Bixler she became fascinated with the
knitting traditions of the Shetland Islands, particularly Fair Isle and Shetland Lace.
Donna looks forward to sharing what she has learned from studying the techniques,
terminology, and intricacies of these beautiful art forms.
