Cost per ticket: $110.00
This class is for the individual who has a countermarch loom or for someone who is thinking of purchasing one, but has been scared off by the idea of a countermarch tie up. This class will examine the differences between vertical and horizontal countermarch systems by comparing our Toika, Glimakra Standard, and Cranbrook looms. We will discuss drafting notations and then warp and tie-up the Glimakra from scratch. Once this is done, students will clearly see how much of a pleasure it is to work on a countermarch loom.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
For class dates that are full, please feel free to call us here at the studio and have your name place on the wait list.
