If you have enjoyed making plain weave double width blankets, this class is a logical next step. With an eight-shaft loom, students can weave a number of different twill patterns in double weave, including straight twill, point twill, rosepath, and diamond twills. Students will learn the theory behind the techniques, and will be guided through development of a threading draft for their project. Materials are not included, but will be available for purchase. Students may also choose to bring their own materials.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.

This class's instructor
Tom Knisely has made his career from his interest and love of textiles from around the world. Tom has been studying, collecting, and teaching others about weaving and spinning for more than four decades.
