This is the forth in the Towels Series within 6 volumes. The thought behind these classes is to incorporate ways for students to learn more about weave structures and patterning along with projects that everyone loves to weave and use. The series consists of Towels Vol 1- The Twills, Vol 2- Plain Weave Structures, Vol 3- Lacey Weaves, Vol 4- Shadow Weaves, Vol 5 -Textures and lastly Vol 6- Fibonacci. Be sure to check the class schedule and over the next several years you could end up with 4 to 5 dozen interesting and educational towels.
The fourth series of towel classes, Towels Vol. 4 – Shadow Weaves, will explore play with contrasting colors and structures. We will have a dozen warps set up to weave. During the 5 day class students will weave in a round robin format so that at the end of the class you should have 12 different towels to take home and finish. You’ll also have an opportunity to try different types and sizes of thread.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
For class dates that are full, please feel free to call us here at the studio and have your name place on the wait list.
