Dates: April 11 - April 14
Forever Warped Textured Towels
Join us for one of our ever favorite towel classes, this time focusing on Textures. In this round robin workshop students will have an opportunity to explore simple structures and creative use of yarns to create fabrics that have a range of textures, bumps and valleys beyond the typical flat plains of cloth common to our looms. During your time with us you will have an opportunity to work on 12 different looms weaving full size towels on pre-warped looms. Each loom will allow students to explore four to eight harnesses in structures such as plain weave, waffle, M’s & O’s, Satin, Crepe, Honeycomb, sett and density changes and so much more.
All materials are included and a rainbow of possibilities.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
For class dates that are full, please feel free to call us here at the studio and have your name place on the wait list.
