Dates: July 11, 2023 - July 14, 2023
We have decided to take our ever-popular V Shaped Shawls class to the next level. Many of you have enjoyed weaving a V Shaped Shawl in past workshops so we’ve gone on to weave many more incorporating handspun and textured yarns to give a new level of interest.
Now what would you think if we work with finer yarns and take these shawls to the next challenge? Let’s add color and weave theory to the mix. Or, how about some simple twills to give your shawl the look of a Tartan plaid or maybe even a pinwheel swirl?
There are many possibilities beyond the Plain Weave shawl.
Each student will warp their own loom to one of several suggested and tested patterns. Each person will be advised on yarn and color choices to weave a magnificent shawl.

Materials are not included in the tuition.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.

Tom Knisely has made his career from his interest and love of textiles from around the world. Tom has been studying, collecting, and teaching others about weaving and spinning for more than four decades.
