Red Stone Glen is set to launch a new independent work program. Our first offering will be for dish towel weaving. Designed for folks who know how to weave, but would enjoy the luxury of a prepared loom and work space for your independent work program, which can last up to five days, or end sooner, if you choose. Due to the independent nature of this program, you are welcome in the studio from 9 am – 8 pm during your work week. If you finish early, or need to skip a day mid-week, no worries. This program is all about what works for you. While there will be no formal instruction, we’ll be on hand to answer questions, offer advice, work out sticky situations and admire your progress.
- You can choose from numerous pattern options. Red Stone Glen will prepare your loom with 10 yards of material, enough for 10 towels, ahead of time. We will offer you a range of colors, skillsets and pattern complexities to suit your needs.
- All materials for both warp and weft are included for each independent work program.
- The cost of each 5-day Independent Work Week will be $285.
