Nothing is nicer to use or to give as a gift than a handwoven towel. Combining absorbent threads with a decorative lace pattern is surely a winning hand towel for any kitchen or bath. Lace is the third towel class in a series of four. In this class you will learn the differences between Spot Bronson and Lace Bronson, Huck Lace and Canvas Weave as well as weave examples of Swedish Lace and learn how to treadle for the lacy effects on non-traditional lace structures. Each student will weave their way through 13 pre-warped looms and return home with a stack of beautiful towels. Whether you’re weaving your way through a the whole series of towels or just coming for the first time you’ll go home with a greater knowledge of lace weaves.
All materials included in class tuition.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
