Want to learn a new fun hobby?! In this truly beginner course students will learn to weave 2 basket totes; the larger tote is approximately 10″ long, 5″ wide and 11″ deep (high); the smaller tote is approximately 5″ long, 4″ wide and 6″ deep (high). Students will learn all aspects of basket weaving including planning their design, cutting and soaking the reed, weaving and finishing their baskets. You’ll leave this class with 2 beautiful and super useful totes plus a new skill set in the books!
This is the perfect class to involve your friends and family since no experience is needed and everyone will have fabulous handmade products at the end of this 2 day class!
All materials are included.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.

Lorraine has been weaving baskets since 1998 when she took a basket weaving class with some friends and absolutely loved it. At those same friends’ urging, she started teaching basket-weaving classes shortly after!
