Dates: July 20 - July 21
Cost per ticket: $285.00
Learn the basics of making “faux chenille”, the sumptuous textural fabric created by layering, stitching and slashing. Chenille can be used as parts of art wearables or as full garments.
Students will make sample swatches to plan for a garment, will learn layout
and begin to cut and sew a jacket, kimono or vest of their choosing. NOTE: access to a washer/dryer is
ideal in order to get the best results from this class. Students will not likely complete their garment in
class, but will leave with their fabrics layered, cut out and marked for sewing at home
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
For class dates that are full, please feel free to call us here at the studio and have your name place on the wait list.
