Boundweave is a weft-faced twill. With a widely sett warp, you will explore numerous ways to treadle and weave different weft-faced patterns. You will learn how to weave on opposites, three and four color rotations and how the reverse these treadlings to create patterns that look like the patterns you find in saddle blankets. You will also be shown finishing techniques for your rug. For this class we will provide you with a pre-warped loom that will allow you to weave a rug sample that is approximately 24” by 36”.
All material included in tuition.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
