Learn all the basics and go home to show off your very own cotton dish towel, twill gamp (sampler) and scarf! Students will become accustomed to looms and all their parts, learn to read and follow pattern drafts and get plenty of practice weaving and warping a loom. In addition to weaving your own towel and gamp, you will be guided through each step of the process of design, calculation, warping, weaving and finishing your very own scarf. This is the essential class for the true beginner (or any one who needs a refresher!). All materials included with tuition with the exception of your scarf. Materials for your scarf are available for purchase at our store.
All classes run 9am - 5pm unless otherwise indicated in the description above.
For class dates that are full, please feel free to call us here at the studio and have your name place on the wait list.
