Ice Dyeing

About class

Forget the rubber bands, the 60’s tie-dye we all love has a new look. This course will introduce students into the wild and wonderful world of ice dyeing. Using an extreme cold water or ice process students will learn how to add pigment to their yarn or fabric to create amazing and one-of-a-kind effects not easily replicated in any other dye process. We will discuss suggested products, applications, and recommended tools. Students will be provided with fabric to execute several different samples in their own color choices. All materials included with tuition.
