Advanced Color and Weave for the Rigid Heddle

About class

Many of you have been captivated by the mesmerizing color and weave effects produced by weave structures such as log cabin, hounds tooth checks and more. If you have taken Sara’s intro to Color and Weave class or explored independently this is the next step for your weaving journey. Sara will introduce students to tip for the most efficient warping specific to Color and Weave threading arrangements, how to wrangle multiple shuttles and weave for your own custom patterns. Students will weave a “gamp” or sampler to gain insight into how to maximize your efforts to create several different patterns with one warping. Looms will be provided if requested otherwise feel free to bring your own loom. All materials included with your tuition.
