About class
Harness the power of the sun, and put it to work for you! Breaking free of our traditional applications of pigment to fabric students will be introduced to photosensitive dyes painted on fabric. Students enjoy a day of explorations learning how to navigate this amazing technique of creating imagery on fabric using only pigment and found objects. We will begin by familiarizing ourselves with the materials through sampling the power of the sun that day followed by a “weed walk” to gather materials for our final compositions on silk scarves and finally execute several on of a kinds prints.
All materials included with tuition.
