Like a snowflake, marbled fabrics have the appeal that no two pieces will ever be the same. This course will introduce students into the spontaneity of putting pigment to fabric in quite literally a fluid application. We will discuss suggested products, applications, and recommended tools. Students will be provided with fabric to execute several different techniques as well as a silk scarf for your final piece.
No experience is necessary so bring a friend for a fun day out!

Sara is the owner and resident instructor of Red Stone Glen Fiber Arts Center. Many of Sara’s students praise her ability to guide students through the challenging world of color theory, specifically relating to weaving.
