Joanne Hall is a weaver, teacher and author of three weaving books, Tying up the Countermarch Loom, Learning to Warp your Loom and Mexican Tapestry Weaving and a new booklet on drawloom weaving. She taught at the University of Montana and Cal Poly in California. She specializes in decorative Swedish weaves, drawloom weaving, band weaving and tapesrty. Knowledgeable about looms, she teaches on all looms, from rigid heddle and backstrap to drawloom. She teaches classes from beginner to advanced in her own studio in Montana and for art centers, folk schools, weaving shops, guilds and conferences.
